CSC exemplifies excellence in early learning, providing inspiration and leadership that engages our communities to put children first.
Invest in children, education and the future!
· While 80% of children start Head Start a year or more behind their peers, by the end of the year, 80% or more are ready for kindergarten.
· 90% or more of parents report improved communication and parenting skills.
· 10,000 teachers and directors of early childhood programs annually get the training and assistance they need to improve the quality of their programs.
Government sources shoulder the greatest portion of our work. But they cannot do it all.
· We need your partnership to bridge the 20% gap between the cost of education and government grants.
· We need your support to reach the other 4000 young children in the Lehigh Valley who are eligible but not funded for quality early education.
Your donations make it possible to
· Purchase classroom materials, equipment and support
· Keep teachers and family partners up to date with continuing education
· Provide parenting education
· Expand arts education
· Expand science, technology, and math education
· Ensure every child receives a minimum of 3 books per year for their personal library
· Provide emergency assistance for diapers, formula, utilities, etc
